Cubs will get the opportunity to Kayak, Canoe, Raft and Stand Up Paddle Board
Beavers will be rafting and canoeing
Paxmead is a lovely stretch of water and is usually the location for our Viking Family Camp.
Hi Cubs and Scouts
The weather looks like it will be perfect for us on Saturday with temperatures maybe even hitting 30C. Pease remember to put on Sun cream before you come and to apply again during the day.
Please also bring along a named water bottle and dont forget a packed lunch ( we are not allowed to prepare and provide food to this many people due to Covid).

We would like to try and avoid scouts getting changed if possible, so our suggestion is that they arrive, ready to go and bring a named towel or poncho with them. Each group will have their own area where they can leave their stuff and come back to when they are not on the water.
We suggest a quick drying shirt and shorts over a swimming costume. Water shoes or old trainers on their feet (crocs, flip flops or sliders are not suitable as they will come off in the water)

Just a reminder that the day starts at 08:30 and finished at around 17:30, Yes. you will have tired kids by the end of the day after Kayaking, Canoeing, Stand up Paddling and Rafting.
